QuicklySell.com was created in 2001 and we have been an online auction site since its inception. After a long 8 years we decided that the auction format was becoming stale, also it is difficult to get members when everyone looks to ebay for their auction needs.
So we decided to change to Classifieds in 2009. People seem to be more comfortable with the classifieds format over the auctions, based on length of time to sell there item, cost involved with shipping and processing etc...
With the classifieds format you can sell your item to other people in your community and it takes away from the costs involved in keeping it more simple and putting some extra money in your pocket! In these tough economic times we know people are looking to cut costs!
The difference in QuicklySell.com is, we are not a corporate America type site, Im a guy that likes doing websites for the challenge of doing the website and trying to make it economical to run. Which is why we charge a small fee for more advanced features of our ad listings, the costs do rise on hosting a domain the more photos and information that get added to the site. This can be costly in the long run. Im not a rich guy so costs are always a factor to me.
